Ecology and Safety
Image Safety First

Safety and environmental considerations are an inherent part of our product lifecycle.  From the earliest stages of product research and development, our processes are studied comprehensively and designed to be safe for the employees, for the neighborhood and for the environment.  Our laboratories and production systems are engineered with inherent safety and in accordance with local regulations and the company’s high level standards.
Stringent safety procedures are enforced during the systems’ erections stage, applicable to both company and contractor employees.
High investments have been put into installation of safety equipment and fire protection systems.

Waste Treatment
Special attention is given to development and installation of recycling and waste treatment processes.
Significant investments were done in TAPI’s sites in order to install modern equipment for waste water and air treatment.
All of TAPI’s sites are in compliance with international, regional and local regulations.
A continuous effort is made in order to reduce the emission of greenhouse pollutants: CO2, SOx, NOX and volatile organic compounds (VOCs).
Our plants in Europe are in progress to comply with the REACH (Registration, Evaluation and Authorization of Chemicals) legislation of the European community.

The Human Factor
TAPI believes that the human factor is particularly important in order to achieve a high level of safety and ecology.  Therefore, employees are trained to fully understand the safety and ecology aspects of the processes, the materials, the systems and the jobs.  Unique and “tailor made” training programs have been developed for these purposes.
Safety and ecology is part of the commitment of each manager.
Procedures, guidelines and design standards have been developed and assimilated. They assure our global approach in all stages of the product lifecycle.
A special effort is continuously made to involve employees in various activities of EHS (for example: internal audits, safety and environment representatives).
