TAPI granted 3 Certificates of Suitability by the EDQM during October 2009
European Directorate for the Quality of Medicines granted TAPI with Certificates for Suitability for its APIs - Ergotamine Tartrate, Trimipramine Maleate and Venlafaxine HCl.
Clarithromycin CEP/COS application was granted on the 25th August 2009.
Clarithromycin is produced by TAPI by Semi-Synthetic - Antibiotic synthesis and is considered to be high volume Active Pharmaceutical Ingredient.

TAPI's Plant Plantex, successfully audited by FDA - July 2009
Our plant Plantex in Netanya, Israel was successfully audited in July 2009 . No Form 483 was issued showing once more TAPI's continuos commitment to quality.
Plantex manufactures some of our leading high volume products. The plant was first audited by FDA in 1995.
Successful USA & EU GMP Audits in Croatian sites - June 2009
Joined EMEA/MHRA and FDA inspections were performed in our Pliva sites in Croatia.
June inspection in Zagreb and Prigorje Brdovecko Pliva sites didn't result in the issuance of form 483, thus further enforcing Teva's commtiment to quality.

Omeprazole is produced by TAPI in its plant in Pliva, Croatia.
Omeprazole is used as a short term therapy of gastroesophageal reflux disease, gastric and duodenal ulcers, and gastric hypersecretory conditions including Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, systemic mastocytosis, and multiple endocrine adenomas.
